David Putnam was a detective with the San Antonio Police Department for 25 years. When he retired, he took over Alamo City Gold & Silver and started crafting badge pendants for officers and their families.
Every morning, David checks the Officer Down Memorial Page. When an officer is killed in the line of duty, he reaches out to the family and donates a pendant in their loved one's memory. He's given over 2,000 pendants to families of fallen officers.
Each piece is cut, cast, and polished by hand right here in San Antonio.
